Water: The treasure we must save – Providing solutions through technology

Piraeus Bank created the mini-documentary series “Sustainable Agriculture, Sustainable Planet”.

The aim is to highlight the impacts of climate change on agricultural production and seek solutions for the sustainability of tomorrow.

In the 1st episode of the 2nd season of the series, scientists and researchers answer journalist Niki Lymberaki’s questions on the topic “Water: The treasure we must save – Providing solutions through technology”.

Director of the Laboratory of Physical Geography and Environmental Impacts Assessment, Prof. Maria P. Papadopoulou, participated in the dialogue, presenting her view on the importance of technology in collecting data related to agricultural production and on the changes that need to be made in order for farmers to have a more active role in the process of collecting this data.
